Where does your donation go?
About 80% of donations go directly to our projects on the ground — except for gifts made via PayPal, from which commission fees are deducted. The remaining 20% covers on-the-ground action and the association's general running costs. Every year, an activity report is sent to all our donors for the sake of transparency.
Tax relief
For French taxpayers, a donation to a general-interest association like Villa Samuel may qualify for income tax relief — usually 66%, raised to 75% for gifts to organisations helping people in difficulty, up to a cap revised each year, provided the association issues a tax receipt. The exact rate and cap need to be confirmed by Villa Samuel before this page is finalised.
